Announcing our newest program, International Business Consulting in Uruguay!

Are you interested in getting hands-on consulting experience while traveling to new and exciting places? On this new Winter Break program you will join Terry faculty, staff, and students in traveling to Uruguay for one week in December 2025. Not only will you work with a specific Uruguayan company for a consulting project throughout the program, but while there you will also have the opportunity to participate in cultural activities while gaining knowledge and experience of international business practices and Latin American culture!

❓⠀What credits do I get? You’ll be able to get a full INTB 5100 Terry upper-level elective credit for just one week of travel and a few pre-departure meetings! You’ll also get Experiential Learning credit and International Immersion credit (IB Co-Majors), so it’s a great way to check off several graduation requirements at one time. This is a great way to keep your fall course load light and enjoy learning about a new country at the same time!

❓⠀Interested in practicing your Spanish skills? You’ll have plenty of opportunities to practice if you want, but none of our programs require language skills.

❓ Are there any pre-departure requirements? Yes, you will have 2-3 class sessions before you leave to set up the expectations for the course and travel. You’ll also be grouped into teams and assigned to a consulting company prior to departure, who you will meet with virtually and in-person on location in Uruguay! Additionally, you’ll have to attend an orientation session, cultural workshop, and meet & greet reception to start getting to know your team and prepare you for traveling abroad.
